How do Athletic Trainers start better navigating the entry-level job postings?
Entry-Level (adjective) [ˈentrēˌlev(ə)l]: At the lowest level in an employment hierarchy, a type of job that typically requires minimal education, training, and experience; suitable for a beginner or first-time user; usually ranging between no-experience to 3 years in the profession.
How are we differentiating this classification in job responsibilities?
Are job duties truly assigned differently as an entry-level athletic trainer compared to a mid-level athletic trainer?
Are all athletic training jobs technically entry-level?
How do we transition/advance someone currently in a job from entry to a mid-level position appropriately?
When is it appropriate for an established employee, hired as an entry position, able to ask for a transition in responsibilities or increase their compensation due to their longevity at their position?
When applying for an entry-level job, how do you navigate the interview to ensure a seasoned AT is not compensated as an entry-level athletic trainer?
Do we know how to calculate the experience difference in compensation?
